If you have a great personal matter please contact us via phone (02 51/4 92-36 36) or e-mail (auslaenderamt@stadt-muenster.de).

If you want to extend your residence permit, please send us an e-mail or mail. Afterwards you will get a certificate via mail that prolongs your residence permit temporary.

If you are abroad and have a residence permit, please notice: you can stay abroad for up to six months and your residence permit won’t expire. If you can’t travel back to Germany because of the current circumstances, send us an e-mail. We will send you a certificate via e-mail that you can travel back to Germany later.

If you visit Germany with a Schengen-visa and you can’t travel back to your home country because of the COVID-19, please send us a copy of your passport and of your visa. Additional to that, please let us know how we can contact you via mail or e-mail. Shortly afterwards, we will send you a certificate, that your stay in Germany is allowed for a little while longer.
