The Science Office ...
... is a one-stop agency for all matters relating to science:
Every question, every need, every problem in science with its eleven universities, the university hospital and non-university research institutions of the Max Planck Society, the Fraunhofer Society and the Helmholtz Association is dealt with by the Science Office.
... is a think tank for topics from the city and science:
The Science Office drives and supports future developments for scientific projects that are important for the city. These can be the establishment of research units with transfer potential to the economy, such as the MEET battery research centre of the University of Münster or a department of the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology. In addition, they can also be developments in areas such as health, which Münster wants to develop into a role model for healthy cities under the umbrella term of public health.
... is a platform for communicating science to the urban community:
Münster Marketing is a communication partner for all relevant city topics. Together with the Science Office, we are constantly working to bring the topics of science to the people and, conversely, to make the knowledge of urban society available to science. This applies to all topics that are represented in Münster, from archaeology and natural sciences to the Cluster of Excellence "Religion and Politics".
... is the node in the stable network of city and science:
The Science Office always and everywhere links the topics of the city with those of science and vice versa. Every issue in the city - from urban strategies to even the simplest question - can produce a better answer through even more knowledge and information. This is what the Science Office is working on.
