In June 2012, the Münster City Council resolved to establish an mediation office ("Ombudsstelle") for clients of the Jobcenter Münster.
The consultation services provided by the volunteer mediators are oriented towards those who feel disadvantaged or abandoned by the Jobcenter.

To schedule appointments or for information outside of consultation hours, citizens may contact the office ("Geschäftsstelle") assigned to the head of the social department.

The website of the Ombudsstelle is a part of the Internet presence of the City of Münster. In general, the municipal imprint applies (Städtisches Impressum).
