On October 24, the historic date of the Westphalian peace treaty, the city approaches the topic of peace from different perspectives and with high-profile guests.

On October 24, the historic date of the Westphalian peace treaty, the city approaches the topic of peace from different perspectives and with high-profile guests.

The final day begins with the traditional ecumenical peace vespers, which this year already starts at 5 pm. Organized since 1993, the Peace Vesper is a collaboration between with the Protestant Apostle Church congregation, the Catholic parish of St. Lamberti and the Association of Christian Churches (ACK) to commemorate the Day of Peace of Westphalia in 1648.

Following the Peace Vespers, the City of Münster, in cooperation with the City of Osnabrück, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) as well as Münster's business community, The "Stiftung Westfalen-Initiative and the Cluster of Excellenz of the University of Münster, is organizing a high-profile panel discussion at the Theater Münster, featuring exciting guests who will address interesting questions related to peace.
